NEFELE Regional Dry Red Wine by Ainos Wines, Tavianatos Vineyards
NEFELE wine got its name from Greek mythology. Nefele was the goddess of Hospitality, she was an Oceanida and a Nymph of the clouds. This wine is red dry and is produced by combining the varieties Syrah 40%, Mavrodafni 30% and Cabernet 30%. This combination gives a rich velvety taste and a particularly aromatic character to the wine with strong aromas of red fruits such as cherry, raspberry, vanilla and spices such as cinnamon and pepper. Along with a beautiful combination of tannins and acidity it gives a suggestion to be accompanied by red sauces and meats. Ideally served at 18 degrees Celsius. The production and bottling is carried out by the Tavianatos Savvas family in Valsamtata, Kefalonia.
